The bird and the branch are great, really glad you emphasized on the long tail portion of the bird (the fact that you can't really tell where the feet are because the tail sort of hides them). Though all this, I still feel like you could have added more to the background than just a "blurred image" of a forest. Great either way!
I love the painting style and brush strokes, but I think there's something wrong with where the bird is drawn. I mean, I don't think the bird's feet are actually ON the branch. The bird's feet should be somewhere near where it's tail starts. So unless the bird is airborne, it shouldn't be in such a position to the branch
Hey! The bird is a long-tailed tit, which very often hangs from branches and so on, often upside down as well... so there is nothing wrong with the birds positioning ...it's that feature of these birds that I love; the way they hang
It's lovely. I especially like how you've blended the colours on the wings, giving a feeling of fluffiness while still mentaining feathers.
